Who else didn't know you could legitimately drift in this game? I just got sat down for a 2 hour lesson by one of my drift friends and kinda learned how to, this is so counter intuitive for a road course guy. At least I got to show him up by keeping it on track in a few LeMans cars!

All I would do in Forza Horizon and 4 would be to drift. Something about it was easier with a wheel than in real life. Sadly, I no longer play Forza 4, and Assetto Corsa is just too difficult to drift in (as in I find drifting in real life somewhat easier (no, I'm not pro dorifto, but rather parking lot slidey amatuer)).

Both Forza and GT have a huge drift community. I know on GT5, drifing a LeMans car would get you laughed at and booted, they really value control, balance, lines, closeness, etc. over raw speed or power. That being said, if you can drift with a slow car, but with the same control and speed as someone else in a 'faster' car, that's the key to success.

Tuning a drift car is also fascinating, and way harder than tuning a track car in my experience on GT5.

I had somehow missed this entire side of the game, all my friends do normal racing and that's all I'd ever dealt with because of that. It's always cool to learn new things.

He was teaching me in a 700+hp 240sx and it was definitely an eye opening experience.

The LeMans car came in when I bet I could beat him around the festival course at Bernese alps in the Audi, which I handily did, only after he destroyed me at drifting in the 240 of course.

The newer CTS-V is really very good at drifting.

I also like my Volvo 240 with the I6 engine swap and everything thrown at it.

Oh, and my Ford Country Squire with the GT500 engine. Because Drift Wagon.
